Gorilla Workshops & Training

Help the Zoo's primate team continue to expand and share their knowledge with a donation towards gorilla workshops and training events held throughout the world. Events take place annually and keepers have the chance to learn about all the latest and greatest practices for primate care -- What's the latest gorilla diet? How to monitor and care for heart disease, How to create a peaceful environment for your troop. It's also a great platform for our keepers and staff to share and present their knowledge -- How to successfully hand-raise an infant gorilla and surrogate train a female gorilla...all at the same time.
